IFAD has just launched a call for proposals to select a recipient or consortium of recipients for a 4-year additional funds grant aiming to finance the implementation of the rural youth employment opportunities project: support to integrated agribusiness hubs for a total amount reaching up to USD 3.5million in Cameroon, Mozambique and Kenya.
The recipient can either be an intergovernmental entity, a government organization, TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) and business development institutions – including NGOs –, academic research institutions or a private sector entity.
In the case of a consortium of recipients, an organization can join more than one but can only be heading one. The recipients must demonstrate a strong focus, experience and expertise in working on youth employment in rural settings. They must also be competent in taking successful rural youth employment approaches.
Deadline to receive proposals in August 17th, 2020, 23:59. For more information, click HERE.
